Player returns to former club
Chelsea have signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City, the club announced Tuesday. The 24-year-old midfielder returns to Stamford Bridge after spending the last two seasons with the Foxes.
Dewsbury-Hall is a product of Chelsea’s academy and made his first-team debut in 2019. He spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Luton Town before joining Leicester permanently in 2021.
The midfielder is a versatile player who can play in a number of positions across the midfield. He is known for his energy, creativity and passing ability.
Dewsbury-Hall is Chelsea’s second signing of the summer, following the arrival of Enzo Maresca from Napoli. The Blues are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
