Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino Leaves Club

Mutual Consent

Mauricio Pochettino has left Chelsea by mutual consent after just one season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain boss joined the Blues in January 2023, replacing Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked following a poor run of form.

Pochettino guided Chelsea to a third-place finish in the Premier League and the final of the FA Cup, but he was unable to win a trophy during his time at the club.

Chelsea are now on the lookout for a new manager, with Zinedine Zidane and Luis Enrique among the favorites to replace Pochettino.

Tuchel's Backroom Team

Three new members of staff are joining Chelsea as part of Thomas Tuchel's backroom team, the club has announced.

The new arrivals are:

• Armando de la Morena (assistant coach)
• Zsolt Low (technical and performance advisor)
• Ben Sahar (loan player technical coach)

Tuchel said: "I am very happy to welcome Armando, Zsolt and Ben to my coaching staff. They are all highly respected professionals who will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the club."
